“HOPERA: A Fallen Hero” is a full-length Hip Hop Opera production with original music by, Adrian Dunn & Bobby burns. As Obadiah King tries to manage the difficult terrain of inner-city Chicago, he is faced with many hurdles in reaching his goal of becoming a successful journalist for the New York Times. He finds that his community of friends is the strongest bond that he has to succeed in life. This dynamic cast of 10 operatic and pop vocalists, dancers and rappers present Obadiah’s ability to triumph over loss, rejection and even death.
