Tinley Park Reptile Conference

Snakes alive! Bring the family to the North American Reptile Breeders Conference at the Tinley Park Convention Center, October 11-12, and stay at the nearby and affordable Best Western Inn Suites Midway Hotel!

The North American Reptile Breeders Conference is open to families interested in viewing, hearing and learning about reptiles. Vendors from around the world will display sand boas, exotic spiders, many different species of turtle, geckos (not the Geico gecko), pythons, and various snakes and reptiles native to North America!

(Sorry, boys, poisonous snakes will not be for sale, so cancel that plot against your little sister.)

The North American Reptile Breeders Conference will showcase a number of guest speakers. Kristofer Swanson of Kay Snakes will discuss “Copperhead Heaven,” one of the most amazing tales of snake infestation in history. Dan Krull will discuss the care and feeding of hognose snakes. Brandon Greaves presents “Expedition Komodo,” his adventure to study the komodo dragons of Indonesia. Chad Brown talks about the care and breeding of Red Mountain ratsnakes and green tree monitors.

Celebrities will include some your favorite personalities from “Animal Planet,” including The Swamp Brothers, Mark O’Shea, Phil Tremper and many more.
