The Lady Lyricists: Queens of Tin Pan Alley features noted Chicago jazz vocalist Elaine Dame in a salute to Dorothy Fields, Carolyn Leigh, and Betty Comden.

Dorothy Fields’ hit songs include “The Way You Look Tonight,” “I’m in the Mood for Love,” and “On the Sunny Side of the Street.” She co-wrote four hundred songs, fifteen musicals and twenty-six movies. Carolyn Leigh, with her partner Cy Coleman, wrote “Witchcraft,” “The Best is Yet to Come,” and “Young at Heart.” Betty Comden and her partner Adolph Green wrote the classic movie “Singin’ in the Rain,” as well as other smash hit films such as “On The Town” and “The Band Wagon.” The duo won six Tony Awards.

Elaine Dame is well known for her appearances at New York’s legendary The Rainbow Room. Her debut album “Comes Love” was received with wide critical acclaim.
